Please be mindful that we are experiencing the fifth major heatwave of an exceptionally hot and dry summer, accompanied by widespread drought conditions and water restrictions.
We are asking all customers to take extra precautions when firing fireworks. Please carefully consider the venue, fallout area and surrounding vegetation before proceeding.
We strongly recommend:
- Wetting down the firing area and surrounding vegetation beforehand.
- Having a bucket of water readily available.
- Keeping a garden hose or suitable water supply on standby.
- Carefully considering the type of fireworks being used.
At present, we would advise against firing rockets, particularly in areas where vegetation is exceptionally dry.
Fireworks can still be enjoyed, but it is essential to be considerate and carry out a risk assessment on an individual basis. If your event is not time-sensitive, it may be worth postponing the display until conditions improve.
If you are unsure or would like professional advice regarding the suitability of your display, we will be more than happy to help. Please message us and we can advise you further.
Please stay safe and enjoy fireworks responsibly. 🎆
